Statement of Philosophy
• To effectively address the mental health and substance abuse service needs of each consumer, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, age, gender, sexual preference, or mental or physical handicap.
• To maintain a primary focus on the confidentiality of our clients in our “small town environment.” • To do “whatever works” to increase the interpersonal, emotional, behavioral, and intellectual skills that allow our clients to function in the community at the highest possible level of independence. “Whatever works” refers to a comprehensive range of services—including traditional psychotherapy (group, individual, couples, and family), substance use counseling, support services, life skill building, wellness activities, biofeedback, coordination of behavioral and medical care with your primary physician, and prevention. |
